Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

• HotCat: easily add, remove, and change categories on a page, with name suggestions  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-HotCat.js
  Requires the following rights: edit, minoredit.
• Strike out usernames that have been blocked  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-markblocked.js
  Requires the following right: read.
• MarkAdmins: Mark users, such as admins, with additional rights.  (View description | Export)
  Uses: Gadget-markAdmins.js, Gadget-markAdmins-data.json
  This gadget is packaged, with entry point being markAdmins.js
