Erika Uyterhoeven is a politician who has represented the 27th Middlesex district, which consists of parts of Somerville, in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2021.[1] A member of the Democratic Party and a self-described democratic socialist,[2] Uyterhoeven is generally considered one of the most progressive legislators in the state.[3]

- Eliminating all gestational limits on abortion access.
- Removing the current requirement for those under 16 to obtain either parent or guardian consent or a judicial bypass order to obtain an abortion.[6]
Healthcare coverage
