12th Worcester district

The 12th Worcester district of the Massachusetts House of Representatives is one of 160 single-member representative districts in the state. It consists of Berlin, Boylston, Clinton, Lancaster, Sterling, and Precinct 4 of Northborough.[1] The district has been represented by Meghan K. Kilcoyne (D-Clinton), the first woman to do so,[2] since 2021.

The district is split between two U.S. Congressional districts:

  • Boylston, Northborough, and Sterling are part of the 2nd Congressional district, represented by Democrat Jim McGovern.[6][7]
  • Berlin, Clinton, and Lancaster are part of the 3rd Congressional district, represented by Democrat Lori Trahan.[6]

The district is entirely within the 7th Governor's Council district, represented by Democrat Paul DePalo.[8][9]
