WickedGov:Blocking policy

This page documents an official policy on WickedGov. It represents broad consensus and is considered a standard for all users to follow.

On WickedGov, blocks are technical restrictions against accounts and IP addresses. Blocks are used to prevent damage to WickedGov, not as a penalty for policy violations.

Alternatives to blocks edit

Usually, an immediate block for a single policy violation is inappropriate. Communication while assuming good faith should often be the first action taken against a user who is violating policy. (Some actions, such as vandalism with obscene images, show clear bad faith and should generally result in an immediate block.)
