Use this form to change a user's username. Do this only after a request by the user or according to the usurpation policy.
Inappropriate usernames should not be renamed. Instead, they may be blocked, and in severe cases, hidden.
After a username is changed, the old username is freed up, but only administrators and bureaucrats can create a new account under the username.
