3rd Norfolk district

The 3rd Norfolk district of the Massachusetts House of Representatives is one of 160 single-member representative districts in the state, consisting of parts of Holbrook, Quincy, and Weymouth.[1] The district has been represented by Ron Mariano, a Democrat from Quincy, since 1991. Mariano has also been the Speaker of the House since September 2020.[2]

The district is split between two districts of the Massachusetts Senate. Holbrook and Quincy are part of the Norfolk and Plymouth district, represented by Democrat John F. Keenan.[3] Weymouth is part of the First Plymouth and Norfolk district, represented by Republican Patrick M. O'Connor.[4]

The district is entirely within the 8th Congressional district, which has been represented by Democrat Stephen Lynch since 2001.[5][6]
